Anyone know if the cloth loom (about 1/2" x 16")that surrounds the door's lock actuating rod is sold by any parts companies? Mine is is really rough shape and I'd like to replace it.
Maybe Radio Shack or a local industrial supply will have some. If not, the company at the link above sells it by the foot. It's to prevent rattling and you should get a size that slips over the rod loosely. I'm thinking 1/2"
