Hard to tell the exact material as it didn't stand up well to the 800-degree oven. I thought during the last repaint that someone had slathered body filler on the folds.
Cast potmetal. The casting marks are on the backside of my '67 peice which is off the car.
The aluminum hood on my new Mustang has a distinctly different sound when tapped with your finger. Dull vs "tinny"
