Right now I'm running a set of 1971 96 heads with a 1968 factory intake. There's a gap where the exhaust crossovers meet between the two allowing an exhaust leak. If I were to swap a 1971 intake for the "68 I'm using now, would the fit be correct and eliminate the exhaust leak? It seem logical to me that it would, but I thought I would ask before making any changes. I know there are other remedies for this problem, but I thought this might be a good solution. What do you all think?
