Hi Folks, Finally got my hands on my dream car 68 400 with a THM400(took six months to convince the better half). Been lurking/soaking up the vast knowledge contained on the site. Car came with no rust, surprising with regards to the Atlantic coast, but has some details that needed attention a) choke rebuild, b) kickdown switch installed, d) stereo put in glove box, just purchased actual (non-working) AM to be put in dash. Current project is to replace front tires and get wheel alignment as previous owner added front disc brakes without performing alignment. As with this and all other issues I have been greatly helped by the knowledge found here. Future items - a) replace wipers, b) new headliner, c) engine improvement, d) exhaust e) TBA.... Figured out the search function so have lots of hints to tackle these. Thanks for your assistance to date and future.

Bird kept well away from the fires. Lost access to a favourite driving route - winding country road, and ocean. Everything under control now. Could have been alot worst given the lack of cleanup of deadwood from hurricane 3 1/2 years ago.
