After taking a few weeks off of working on the car and going on vacation, it is time to get going again on the car.
I have received the masticated radiator filler panels for the front of the car, but there are no instructions on where and how they are attached to the car. My car did not have them on it when I started to dis-assemble so I have no referance. Anybody have some pics they could share?

I do, but this is all I have...they were taken to show the clips actually...you can see that I have one original 'masticated with correct clips and one rubber filler with non correct clips (they are Chrysler liner clips, work fine) Hope you can tell how they mount from these...if not , hopefully I can "explain" whats in the pics...
the Chrysler clips I found in the HELP section at Pepboys... if you print these out, and hold them by the front of the car ,it may make sense.. the first two pics are passenger side...the next two, drivers
if you look at these locations , you might (if you`re lucky) an original clip or two...?see the look in pics 3 and 4
but there are holes to fit the clips ,and if I remember correctly the fillers have holes in them...you just attach ea with 3 (I think , I did that 6,7 yrs ago)clips ea. side.....the bottom of the filler will just lay on the bottom , folded forward ,to catch the air
I have to put these on my car as well, so hopefully I can figure out your pictures as well.. lol.
And Catalina, the clips you can get from NAPA. They are part # 665-1323. They come as a bag of 10 clips, so you will have 4 extras in case you ever need them. These are the same Chrysler clips that Bjorn shows on his 1 side.
I have the fillers and picked up the clips last week. So now I just need to figure out the pictures..
Sweet, thanks for the part number. I may just run up to my local NAPA and get them. I did not get a chance to figure them out last night but will shoot for tonight. If I figure it out, I will post pics.

I figured it out, and I posted pics...LOL
My "help" was that I only was missing one side...so I could duplicate...if you dont figure it out , I can take more pics...but I`ll have to remove the X fillers to do it...
Without going out and looking at my car (Im lazy right now), will I be able to put these on with just the removal of my X fillers or are therer other parts that will need to come off the car to get these radiator seals on?
Im sure most people put them on while they are putting their car back together, but these fillers (along with the lower baffle) are missing on my car and I need to install them. Just wondering if anything else will be in the way as I go to install them.
I went to NAPA and they had to order in the clips. They will be in later this morning.
I 'dry' fit the units and think I have them figured out, but I cannot figure out where the third clip goes. (the hole on the bottom). I figure they must go onto the lower baffle as it has a two holes that are in the general area. They holes look too large though.

All you need to remove from a complete car to install the fillers , is remove the X fillers... arent there holes in the fillers? if so (I think there were)line up the two you find then just move the filler around until you find the last hole...it should line up with a hole in the metal...
I "may" only have used 2 holes myself, but if there were 3 holes, I used three

Which metal? The X filler?
Than I have them upside down. I thought they went towards the bottom. i guess I didn't figure it out than.

If you look at my first two pics...the first is (passenger side) looking just thru the opening where the X filler normally is...the top clip is there...then next pic is just below the first showing where the next clip down is , under the bumper bracket...I think theres a clip 90 degrees from that too somewhere along the radiator frame , not 100%. so the strange cut out in the filler wraps the bumper brackets..
I may have done the same ,it just lays in there ...I may just remember the 3rd hole too, and not attached it...too long ago...but what Cat has in the picture looks just right
Hey Catalina, I just put mine in and like the others have said, I just used the top 2 holes in each and the bottom just lays over the valance.
But here is a bit of advice so that your installation goes a bit easier than mine and doesnt include quite as much swearing or sore fingers...
The clips from NAPA fit, but the flexable arm that holds the clips into place are too long for the thickness of the metal that you pop them into.
I pushed with fingers and screwdrivers, and swore at the clips in hopes that the constant stream of profanities would magically pop them into place and keep them there. But to no avail.
I ended up using my brain instead and clipped the arms to about half the length they come, and they instantly popped into place and held with no further effort.
So you may want to take some wire cutters and clip the arms in half to make life a little easier on yourself. The one on the left is how they come, and the one on the right is where I clipped them to make them work. Sorry the picture is so dark, but its about 100 degrees here, so I have the lights off to keep the house cooler... lol
Rich ,seeing what you have in those pics...that looks VERY familiar, now that my memory gets tickled... I had to do that too!! just forgot about it....... no cussing helped here either....LOL
Popped in with no issues. The lowest hole comes close to the extra holes in the lower filler panel, but not close enough that they don't look funny when a clip is used. Just left them laying as you guys suggested.
