Does anyone know what the tooth count should be on the speedo gear for a TH350 and 2.56 rear end gears? My new transmission didn't come with the correct one. I know this because the speedometer reads about 21% too high, as verified by handheld GPS. The one that is in there now has 34 or 36 teeth (I can't remember which). To make the speedometer read lower, I need a gear with more teeth, right? Thanks!

I think it should be brown or tan in color

Brown is for 2.78:1. They are color coded.
