Any body know how to set up the wiper's to park mine stop right where you shut off the switch. Is there a sertion position to install the motor or is it in the switch?
The park is in the motor's armature. I don't understand electricity, so I don't know why, but it parks twice on a full revolution, on each 180'.
Take wiper arms off, disconnect the linkage from the motor, turn motor on/off, and allow it to park. Use a grease pencil, a tiny peice of tape, or some type of reference point that represents the down position.
Install linkage, turn motor on/off and allow to park. If the referecne point isn't aligned where it should be, disconnect the linkage from the motor, bump the switch, only allowing one cycle. You probally won't have to, but remark the reference points. Attach, linkage, turn motor on/off and allow it to park.
If the reference point still isn't in alignment, it missed the proper park. (While the linkage is disconnected, you must just bump the swithc on/off so that it only does one cycle.) Repeat until it's correct.
