Getting ready to rebuild the front end, bought a full kit from Performance Suspension Components but now looking for front springs. I'm an old SCCA club racer so I thought i'd try to make the old stove bolt handle well to. Any one have any insite on some good performance springs? I plan on using Koni adjustable shocks and would like a good progresive rate with about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch drop.
i think eaton and/or detroit make 'made to order' springs, but i dont know if they are variable rate. i have heard the name hotchkiss thrown around a bit on the cramarotech site. i think global west makes some interesting high performance type stuff too. possibly what you are looking for.
is progressive rate like variable rate? all i know is if i chop OE springs, it's lower and stiffer. rides and handles more like i like.
