For awhile I have been asking people about there HO manifold but everyone had said they had sold it. But I have recently purchased one of of ebay for about $95. But my question is since everyone that I asked sold theres. About many are still out there?
Are you refering to the intake manifold or exhaust manifolds? For an intake, there is no distinguishing a standard from an HO - they both have the same part number. I think there is a different manifold for the 326 (Carter Carb) in 1967, but that's also the same P/N as any other non-rochester car.
For the exhaust manifolds, check out several other threads on long branch exhaust manifolds. These are the "HO" exhaust manifolds for a firebird (Except 326 and 350 HO - I think.)
I am referring to the Intake Manifold. And there has to be a differance between the 326 and the 326 HO Manifold because the regular 326 didn't have a 4bbl but the HO did. Now it might be differant on other pontiacs where there was o such thing as a HO. But I have compared pictures with a 400 Manifold and they are infact different.
The 326 4 barrel manifold is different than the 400 4 barrel manifold.
The 326 2 barrel manifold is different than a 4-barrel manifold.
The 326 4 barrell manifold is the same as all the other 4 barrel manifolds that used the "non-Quadrajet" type carburetor (Square bore, might be an AFB).
is a non spreadbore not square? i kinda like "non quadrajet" i always say squarebore, not that i think it matters. but there are at least two different types. carter and holley, which have different patterns.
Q, do you know if the 326 and 350 intake manifolds and/or others interchange? do the 400 and 455 interchange? 428? just curious.
Yep. Square bore. But that was a term I've only really used to describe Holley carbs. Most of the time an AFB is just referred to as an AFB. Then I have to describe WTF and AFB is. So, in order not to be AFU, I just went with the anti-spread-bore description and BS'd my way through it, OK?
Had enough? I have.

In a word: Yes. Pontiac intake manifolds will interchange from 326 on up to 455, including all motors in between, when using Pontiac heads from 1965 to 1979, with the exception of 301 heads and Ram Air 2,4 and 5 heads. They fit on the Ram Air 2 and 4 heads, but the ports don't match very well.
