Penny, Dan is right, that should be the same for 67-69. And the original buttons were either Green or Black, and they were just a small button, about 1/3 the size of the Yellow ones you see in later GM cars.
BUT, the trunk actuator should work from later model Firebirds and Camaros and bolts up to the lower half where the lock mechanism attaches. Just FYI...
Correct, mines in the glove box (originally, glove box interior has since had damage/wear) and it is black. I dare say you can relocate the switch if you have glovebox issues (i.e. previous owner trashed the GB interior for stereo or other idiot reasons).

Thanks so much, I like the idea of mounting it in the Glove Box. So thanks again, I'm in the process of replacing the GB and tossing out the cheap tape deck that some two year old must have installed. Penny
