Hello: I am in the process of restoring a 1967 firebird convertible that originally came with a verdoro green exterior and parchment standard interior. I am restoring back to original as much as practical. I had several questions on paint that I hope you can advise me on or recommend a good restoration guide for 1967 firebirds to answer these type of questions. So here they go: 1) What color should the top metal piece on both the inside door and quarter trim be? 2) What color should the instrument panel be? 2) What type of black is the engine bay (semigloss, flat)? 3) What color should the underside of the car be? Also, any idea on what color the dash pad or carpet would have been for such a color combination? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Thank you for the replies on carpet and dash pad. Any information on instrument panel color, color of metal area above interior door and quarter trim? I am assuming the instrument panel should be black and area above interior door and quarter trim should be the exterior color (verdoro green).
Bjorn: I am currently in Victoria but used to leave in houston.
