Any advise on what the color of a 67 powerglide transmission should be? I read somewhere that the case should be left its natural color and oil pan and converter pan black?
How about the color of the upper door panel on a 1967 convertible with parchment interior? Is it parchment in color or the exterior color of the car?
I believe the oil pan would be pontiac blue. And I agree with Tom regarding the natural aluminum trans. color. I am not sure about the converter.
The dash and door tops would be black with the parchment interior.
I believe Vikki's site shows the correct 'percentage' of gloss for the black dash and door panels. The dash area is a flatter black to reduce glare.

Sorry, but I have a '67 coupe with the Parchment interior and the top interior sections of the doors (steel) are painted parchment to match the vinyl door panels.

I just scrolled through the online car show pics, and from what I could tell, the white interiors did appear to all have white door tops.
A buddy of mine had a black with white interior car about 10 years ago and the door tops were all painted black. I remember that we used to joke about only needing to switch the seats and door panels to go black on black. Must have been painted by a PO or something.
