In a strange coincidence, my hairy brother in law has been missing for a week. He grabbed a 12 pack and said he was going for a long hike in the woods.
That "press conference" is 20 minutes away from me.... sure would be fun to slip out of work on Friday......
When I google earth around 100 miles of where my cabin is, there are little dots that mark sasquatch sightings....along with the details...kind of cool...but yet to have seen one myself...mind you one of the cabin owners is likely scaring them away...he's bigger...
What gets me about this type stuff, Big Foot, Loch Ness, etc... is people believe a species has existed for eons with only one or two specimans? Right... Nature doesn't work that way.
Wanting a Custom fit in an off the rack world.

It could have been a SKUNK APE! There is a town in huge NWFL swamp named,Wewahitchka (Wewa, locals) and they run like a pack of dogs down there. That one could have been on vacation up there or was picked up by some carnies and taken on the road for a freak show and died of a broken heart .... or had fallen off a high-wire act that he just couldn't preform, b/c of his large feet..... terrible tragedy man ... those guys can fish!! One taught me how to survive after I was lost in the swamp for two months when I was just 6 years old and I will never forget them as long as I have a nose, cause they stink soo bad.
I'd rather see a rust bucket on the road, than a garage queen anytime!!
What one (Police Officer) says outside the scope of official duty, unless illegal, is a question of morals and values.
I make [censored] up all the time when I am on duty. I also make [censored] up when I am off duty, but with respect for my friends and family, I keep them out of that behavior.
So....
This is a hoax by an unstable, disabled "southern boy" cop.

Folks, I decided to sneak over there for lunch, so here is a first-hand report on what happened: As it turns out it was neither a Bigfoot or a hoax, but rather a tragic mistake. It turns out that the remains that they had recovered, while mistaken for a Bigfoot, were actually the remains of famed TV star Bea Arthur, whose family had reported missing since last month. If you look at the attached photos, you can understand the confusion:
THIS IS BEA ARTHUR:
THIS IS BIGFOOT:
Please join me in extending our deepest sympathies to the Arthur family.
