According to my Cowl Tag #501190,my car was the 501,190th built at the Lordstown Plant for the 1969 model year.Now according to GM of Canada documents my car was #212 off the assembly line for the 1969 model year.Could anyone give me some insight on this?The car was never wrecked or stolen,the original owner lives 3 miles from me and I know he isn`t the type to switch tag numbers.

Maybe it was the 212th Firebird which was also the 501190 th car at that plant or all plants??Or 212th imported??

The cowl tag carries identification specific to Fischer, and does not correlate to the pontiac produciton line or the VIN number.
