A buddy of mine asked me for help with hiding his stereo in his 67 Camaro(excuse the language) trunk . I came up with an idea to get a stereo with a remote and using an IF extender from the Interior of the car to the trunk. We then built the circuit ourselves with maybe $10 in parts, mounting an IF receiver behind the lens in his old radio. It works really slick and I'm going to probably do the same for my 68. If anyone is interested in the circuit I'd be more than happy to Email it to them.
Penny. I installed a Pioneer in my glove box on my 69. It has a remote for it but it won't work with the glove box door closed. Would something like you built work for me? If so please send me your plans. Thanks.
I'd also like the info! That would be much appreciated! Also, here, half way down the page (just before the Stinger section) is a IF repeater http://www.installer.com/acc/ but this one is about $40, but sounds like the same idea, and yours sounds much more ecconomical!
This site has tons of useful electronic items like this, so it may be a good reference if nothing else?

I HAVE to ask this, and please don't get mad! Every post you make (admittedly few), you get lots of responses from folks that may not normally response.
Penny....are you a girl?
I had to ask because there seem to be no FGF girls out there! If you are a guy and your last name is penny please accept my apologies.
