It's hard to tell but I think the support that goes across the car (left-to-right) looks a little different on my 69. I'll try to get some pics today for comparison.
So, can anyone verify that the center support had clips on a 69 or not?
I went back through 7 years of old documentation and found a picture as I was disassembling.
It shows the clips in question that run across the car for the middle bow and that hold the dome light harness.
Vikki has a complete headliner assembly (rods, clips, etc) but understandably doesn't want to break it up. If anyone has a set of these clips or knows where to get them, please let me know!
as already told in your other post I didn´t have these clips on my car when disassembling it. Only from looking at your picture I´m not sure if these clips are much broader with 2 different possibilities to clip in the bow (it seems that there is an open space between the middle bow and the wire?) or if the white clips that hold the bow are identical to the other ones shown above at the Year One link. As far as I understood you have the regular 4 clips at hand. Can they be installed in the middle section running from left to right hand side, too? So the easiest thing would be to buy 2 of these sets... Perhaps Vikki could post a picture showing these clips I haven´t been aware of...?
