I bought a 68 Firebird Maintenance CD for the computer a few weeks ago off Ebay. Its actually pretty good, and I sent a few copies to FGF friends here for their opinion as well. If you have the maintenance manual hardcopy, like most of us, it is a simple scan of that manual, but much easier to run through. Also the diagrams and photos are clear and can be zoomed in on to the 9th degree if needed. The guy selling these on the web just took alot of time to scan the manual and convert it to Adobe Acrobat, so he has no proprietary ownership. In other words, he is making a few bucks for free. I applaud that incentive, but I won't participate in the money making side of his scheme. Instead, I will send any FGF member that wants this CD for free, just send me your address. It is great if your GM maitenance manual is oil and grease coated like mine and you can use a computer to research and print your current project. The folks I sent it to like it and I do too. Send me your home address, give me a week or so and it will be in your mailbox.

No problem sending all of you that replied a copy of this. I'll also figure a way to post the files to my website for download for high-speed cable users. The files aren't too big for those with fast access speed. :p For now we will close this thread before Geoff gets fired up and chews me out. Just use my private message link to send me future requests.
