Looking to cut out the front floor pans on my 67 Bird Conv. Can anyone give me some guidance on who sells the better product as in metal thickness and best quality out there.. I'm just looking to replace both front part only.. Also any advise on how to do this?. Thanks..

I just bought a driver's pan from Shermanparts.com. I don't know if it was a Golden Legion, Goodmark or other brand but the stamping lined up and fit perfectly. I used only a small piece of a partial pan.

I had it installed by the body and paint shop. Photo shown below has the patch roughed in, showing how well the ribs match. The drain plug hole is not die cut, so if you want it as original you need to cut it out.

Looks like they just cut the floor out a little smaller than the patch and then laid it on top and spot welded it on. Pretty simple. Seal it up and you're done.
