Seeing the other thread gave me this idea. Post a few pics of your engines only. Downsize them please. Try not to keep a running thread back and forth of Nice, cool, whatever, just post some pics and discription of what's under or going under your hood for others to enjoy. From the bone stock to the WOW!!! Lets see what kind of "Injuns" we have in our FGF's.

Yellowbird first, factory 400/TH400/AC/PS/PB. Exactly as built with stock heads, intake, carb, cam, exhaust. Only thing changed is timing set. "After pics" next year?
Then the '68. Forged pistons, Isky cam, #16 heads. Getting long branch manifolds. All stock accessories to be mounted.

68 400 engine, roller cam, lifters & rockers. #62 heads, stock intake, Q-j carb, stock dist w/ points, long branch manifolds. Air cleaner signed by Mr. Jim Wangers himself. Correct alt. has since been installed...
yes Edelbrock 87 cc heads ported rpm intake ported alsoross dome pistons 4340 forged crank 4.250 stroke eagle rods. extreme energy cam xe268h 268/280 224/230 .477/.480 800 holley,and i have Doug headers. I still have a lot to do i just got stainlees gas and brake lines and a gm tank. I had Butler Performance build it
First one is what came with the car when I bought it: 326 with some #62 heads.
Next is the one I bought off of some guy out in the desert: 400 WQ block with #48 heads.
I used the two engines to build one: 400 WQ block with #62 heads. Summit 2801 cam, 7029262 carb modified by me with the help of Cliff's book, 3 pipe headers that came with the car, pretty much stock everything else.
The previous ones I posted were old and really old...lol, so snapped a few just now...keep in mind I have not cleaned it much all summer, needs a winter detail
Right...using the 5 second rule , no its not bad, just a few paint and odd bolt that has fresh rust issues better dealt with early. back to the pix....
