I was putting my horn in today, and they did not work. Since I pulled my wiring out I wonder if I am missing something. They both have good grounds, on the relay I hooked up the double connector in the first location, the hot from the fuse block to the middle, and the single black wire to the end terminal, still no horn. I also did a search, and found no 69 relay answers that would help. I knoticed that I had no power at the orange wire, should that be attached to acc. block......... Any takers...Thanks........................................Mark

you can always test it on your battery. prong on the horn is +. then ground it on the frame with a wire from the -. easy way to test them. some horns have adjustment screws.

Everything at the wheel is new, and worked great before I took it apart, that's why I am sure its the wiring to the horn relay........................................Mark

A good test;
Try to ground the prong out on the end of the horn relay that the green wire hooked to. You should hear a 'click' when the magnet inside the relay energizes and causes the arm to move over and make the power connection for the horn. No 'click' and your horn relay doesn't work.

Jim question, if I wanted to bench test, pos. would go to center? And neg. on the 2 plug pin? I ask to make sure first that relay is good, then check wiring.........Mark
