im putting together some front seats and cant seem to figure out how the upper seat back latches to the lower part.i see the latch on the upper back but the bottom is a mystery.

The bottom has a looped mounting catch mounted to the seat bottom, that the "hook" grasps when the seat is back in the upright position. I'll get you a picture...
