It's been stated that the AEE code that is stamped on some 69 NOR Firebirds is for exterior trim.
I tried to confirm which option AEE was indicating and ran into problems. I couldn't find a unique common option among 6 cars that have AEE and known (to me) options (via PHS docs).

What we do know:
AEE shows up throughout the 69 NOR Firebird production.
It only has been seen on coupes.
It's relatively common, showing up on about 1/2 of cars.

I'm wondering if it's a feature that's hidden in an option and I just don't know about it.

The decor group is 324. It consists of 414 451 461 464 514. 464 is the wheel opening mouldings and roof drip mouldings. It does not show up on the individual option list, just in this package. Any other way to get 464?

Anyone have an NOR car and care to share (or email) their PHS docs? Just note if it's a AEE tag or not.

Here's what options are on the 6 cars:

Car #5 doesn't have 324 or the parts of it.
Yes, they all have radios and consoles, but non-AEE cars have those options too.

my car has aee on the tag too .I was wondering what it meant ??? could it be rear antenna? mine has it and assembly line would need to know

Rear antenna would be Fisher installed. #391, only one of the cars above has it.

Can you list what your PHS doc shows was shipped on your car, if you have a copy of it?
