I am getting ready to replace the left rear frame rail on a 69 Firebird Convertible. Any suggestions where to read up on this and/or any advice? Thanks.

Drill out the spot welds on the floor where it attaches to the rails. Also where the rear body panels are welded to it. I don't remember how the front of the rail is welded in, but there are probably some more welds there. Screw and clamp the rail in place and weld away. Barry

Thanks for the tips. Any suggestions on how to support the rest of the car during the welding process?
