CASH-strapped General Motors is auctioning off more than 200 of its historic and most unique cars, including a Cadillac made for Pope John Paul II and a presidential limousine replica used in several films.
I don't recall seeing the Blackhawk before. That is beautiful!!
I bet the sale is the result of a management edict to every organization to trim costs and underutilized assets. It's only a few $mil from that org but part of the pruning of hundreds of orgs. It is just more visible.
I still have the promo card from the guys passing them out at Woodward Dream Cruise some years ago. It sounded very very cool. It was a 455 Buick engine. I'll post the card and info in a bit. Interesting read.
