i have a 69 automatic 350 i just got put a new starter on the car, turned over tryed to put the car in gear and it did nothing checked tranny fluid was low added some and now i got to give the car almoswt half throttle to get the car to even creep it revs up real high like it was in neutral or park but still moves if anybody has some advice that would be greatly appreciated thanks
Probably needs more tranny fluid. Recheck the dipstick after moving the selector through all the gears several times with the engine running.

As above, check the fluid level at operating temperature with the engine running. What color was the fluid before you added? Did it smell burnt? A filter change might be needed. If anything, replacing it will give you an indication of the health of the internals. By that I mean what's in the filter and bottom of the pan.
