Since the rent house next door is vacant they have put up a for sale sign and for rent sign in the front yard. It gets tons of traffic, of which I see on my camera while I sit here. Sometimes when I see someone pull up I will immediately go outside and look at them, sometimes they talk, sometimes they run away! Since the house is owned by a realtor, she is trying to sell it herself. What's crazy is that she wants about $15,000 more than what it was worth for the tax appraisal last year. I point that out, all the rotten wood and where the squirrels get in to scare people off and keep them from getting ripped off. I hope it stays empty, you know if the owner actually acknowledged my existence AND did backround / credit checks on the renters I would be a little nicer.
Heck with camera's.... ever thought about strategic gun placements! Maybe a little lighting for optimal target recognition and a high capacity target-neutralizing round, say in maybe a .308 cal.! Heck I could come out there and look at placing gun mounts for you... sounds fun!!!!!
I'd rather see a rust bucket on the road, than a garage queen anytime!!
Remember, I do live in Texas so I am pretty well equipped. I still have some old unmarked ammo that Obama said to get ride of. I think I'm ready for whatever.
My inventory: SKS 59/66 - 7.62 X 39mm with built in grenade launcher and bayonet Intratec Tec-9 - 9mm have two 50 round clips and the original 10 round Mossburg Maverick - 12 gauge pump with pistol grip
I'm kind of like the neighborhood watch. My neighbors like me because I caught the kid breaking into their car and ran off the crappy renters. It is a decent area except for the rent house and the longer it stays empty the better.
I thought about setting up a table in the front yard and "field stripping" them as people drive by. But I don't think it's the best idea to be flashing guns around outside. Besides, none of the neighbors know I have them and it may be better that way than to draw attention to myself. I haven't shot any of them in over 5 years anyways, just keep them greased up.
You can't beat those SKS's!!! I have one and they are a hoot-to-shoot! If you don't have at least 1000 rounds you may be out guned, remember you said you live in Texas!! lol Happy shooting! Hollar if you need back up, will be glad to shoot from the east and catch them in a crossfire!! ha ha ha

I dunno, I lived in the downtown area of Vancouver in my mid twenties...nice condo...2 gays moved in next door and within a month you should have heard the catfights...I had to call the cops twice, as I heard in a hi shriek thru the walls "he's killing me he's killing me".
Cops would come 2-4 of them, and they would talk with them and tell me after that "they kissed and made up" LOL. I moved a few months later. I was just late of Calgary (1983) and had not yet shed my cowboy boots for the west coast attire so the gay thing was harder to absorb
