I recently bought a 1967 326 convertible. The original rochester 2bbl was replaced with a new Holley 4bbl. Looks like the previous owner failed to notice that the 2bbl throttle assy is incompatible with the 4bbl. The carb will only open 50% because the throttle arm provides too little movement to open the carb 100%. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I´ve tried to find throttle assemblies for 4bbl carters and rochesters That turned out to be all but easy, since pontiac changed from levers to wires in 1968. Any tips on dealers who might have this in stock?
I'm in the same boat, 1967cab. I have a Holley and use the 326 2bbl linkage rods. It took some experimentation to get it to work right but the photo above shows my setup. I got the swivel from Jegs:

I just remember reading that the 140 heads didn't line up on one side with a 4 barrel intake, not sure that it's true or not until I start tearing apart my engine.
