I've read that the ceramic coating reduces the amount of heat under the hood, does this correlate into performance gain over regular headers? If so, has anyone seen any 1/4 mile time differences?
I had mine coated, and it seemed to help the under hood temps slightly, but I don't know how much you would be able to actually measure as far as performance gains?
My hooker comps don't have it and they haven't rusted up on my truck yet. But I agreee they look better and I think on my bird they'll get the coating. Thanks fellas.
Inquire with Jet Hot about their coatings. They'll send you much more information than you asked for. It's interesting though. They claim dramatic underhood temperature reductions and maybe less dramatic horsepower increases.
