I have been using my old cambell hausfeld fluxcore for a few years now. Any way i see harborfreight has a mig gas and flux for $189. Has anyone here used any of their welders? Before I saw that one I ws looking at a little hobart or lincoln. Anyone here got any suggestions?

a buddy of mine is a pro welder, his quote is:
Hobart welding wire and Miller welders.

DO NOT buy a welder from Harbor Freight I have not used one from there,But I am sure it is Junk like every thing else they sell. I use a Lincoln and it welds excellent and have had it for for over 15 years with no problems at all.

Ive gotten ptetty good with my fluxcore but it takes 3 times as long. I do like gas alot better and it gives a good clean weld. I am looking into a miller for $875. It comes with the bottle and a spool of wire. I just really want to upgrade.

Miller welders are excellent welders also,A local fab shop here uses nothing but Miller

I had a holbart and a lincoln I liked them both now i am using a Matco it works ok so far but have not used it enough I only bought it because it was 100 dollars I could not pass on it.
