Sorry guys if this has been asked before but I could not find an answer by searching. I am in the process of putting the seats back in my 67. On the driver side there are two black brackets bolted to the floor plan and the seat bolts to the brackets. On the passenger side the seat bolts to the floor plan. Both seats appear to have the same style and height mounting brackets. I do not remember removing the black brackets on the passenger side. Is this normal to have the brackets only on the driver side? If so why? It almost lokks there they are factory to raise the height of the seat. Thanks in advance for any help.
