Is there some kind of insulator or rubber pad that goes on top of the front springs on a 68. My kids 79 has rubber donuts that sit on top of the front springs, does a 68 have something similar?
Mine did not. Spring sits in a pocket in the top, steel to steel contact. Indentations in top pocket and bottom control arm for ends of spring to fit into for good fit.
