I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? My wire that goes to the positive side of the coil has intermittant power while running. If I connect a wire from the battery straight to the + side the car will stay running. Do you think my ignition switch is going bad or the wire is bad. I have an electronic ignition in by Pertronix.

Well, I would trouble shoot it useing a test light. You could get the car running and try probing the Ign wire off the back of the switch...if you don't maintain constant power then I would say you have a bad switch. If the power remains constant the you may try running a new wire for the Ign side of the coil. Also I believe there is a resistor in the oem wire for the + coil...this may be the problem also. If so you can try finding the resistor and remove it or just run a new wire
