Anyone have a recommendation on a good body shop / restorer for a 68 firebird vert in the San Francisco bay area?

Hey Mike! Glad to hear your getting to that stage!

I know of a few High end shops one in South City and one across the bay that specialize in custom and Hot Rod stuff, but they are way high end on the pricing...

I would check with Hugo down in Santa Clara, as he would have more first hand experience in the area. I think Andy perhaps on his email list may know of a few?

I used to know a few guys in the area in the business... but too much time has passed since I was living there and had a good feel for the local shops...

I'd start asking around at some of the larger car shows, jobs you think look right, and get a good feel for places and shops that are used...

Good luck, and keep us posted as to what you find, and of course the progress on the car! Been a long time coming!
