I just received a new (repro) center dash panel for my 68. It's the panel that goes around the HVAC controls and the stereo. How does it attach? It only has screw holes on the bottom. What holds the top in place? thanks! dave
There is a white plastic piece that attaches at the top of the center dash area with screws. It creates a "notch" that the top of the center panel locks into.

Yep. At Ames it's part number FA563TS Center Dash Panel Plate Retainer. The screws are sold separately.
