I just put 15X8 with 4.5"BS on my 68 with 255/60/15 ET STreets on them and they fit great! I put 215/60/15 tires on 15X7wheels with 4"BS on the front. Looks nice...in my opinion.... HTH dave
I know the factory Rally II's that I had were only 15X7's. I bought Wheel Vintiques (sp) reproduction Rally II's to be able to get the 8" for the rear. I have plenty of room up front. I would imagine that 8" wheels would fit up there, but can't say for sure as I haven't actually had that size on the front. HTH dave
You may have some tire rub on the front with 15x8's. Back in the 80's i had 14x8 sloted mag's with G-60's on the front. They oftened rub'd on the inside and outside wheel lip. But that was with a stock suspension...and me driving.
Just checked. You are right the rally 15 inch rims are only 7 wide. Inside bead to bead. What would be a good tire size for the rims on the 67??? I like the bigger tire look. But I don't want any ru bbing issues. Everything else is stock. Thanks

I run 235s x 60 x 14 (had 245s , no problem ,but had troble finding size whren I replaced them) on 6 " rims...no problem, 7" rims , you should have no problem...245 is a good, nice looking wide tire , for street use...
