Hello all,
after attending this fine website for almost four years now, I find this post one of the hardest to write, but I think its time to come clean. For years my signature, and all my posts, referred to my pride and joy- a 400HO convertible Firebird.
The fact is, I don't have a 400HO, I don't have a convertible, I don't even have a Firebird. I saw a picture of one in a magazine, and I thought it looked cool. Then I found this site, with the friendly, tight-knit community, and I just wanted to be part of it. So, I made up a "virtual reality" if you will, about a car and a life that does not exist.
The truth is I am a 22 year old unemployed hamburger flipper, and I live in my parents basement. The only car I ever owned was my Dad's old LeBaron, and after I wrapped it around a telephone pole I could never afford another car.
I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me for my deceit. I never meant any bad intentions, I just wanted to create a fake world for me that was different than what I really live every day. You all have been great, and I wish you well, but I think its time for me to move out of my Parents' basement and start to face the real world.

Hey Z, I`ll pay your bus fare! IF you will take the bus...I did once from LA to Houston...33 hrs! and people complain about flying...lol...the only people on that bus were people afraid of flying or the ones that cant afford a car! and every two hrs they stop 10 minutes at a McD...so people can smoke and buy "food"...

I am shocked and awed by the deceiptfull nature of all your previous postings. All the PM's, the things you said; were they real? What about the links you sent, did you even watch them yourself? It's like everything I ever believed in has been taken away, like the ground beneath my feet has fell down, and I am tumbling, I don't know left from right or up from down anymore...

Hang on - Mustang person here too. I have a 2006 V6. It's my 3rd 'Stang.

Mustang "II's" were '74 - '78. An '83 would be a Fox platform. I had an '88 GT.

A guy told me his car ,which looked rusty in pics, had NO rust in quarters...he promised, guaranteed...then looking at the car , he was correct ,it didnt ...the quarters had been cut out and were toally missing!

Okay, okay, okay, I give up, you guys are just too sharp. Granted, not my best material. This was actually my "plan B" April Fools joke, hastily put together this morning. Plan A would have required advanced planning with fellow co-conspirators, which I just didn't have time for Also, I highly suspect at least one other person is already doing my "plan A".

I was kiddin' around, I was trying to remember a car my buddy drove in High school. All the girls listened up as he said he had a mustang, until they saw it...then they laughed...is looked like a chevette all puffed up...lol...

I'm not hating stangs, had an 03 SVT Cobra that scared the daylights out of me, and I am going to push my oldest to get a fox body vert...ok, there I said it, now you can hate me...lol
