Just picked up a '67 Speedminder/Rally gauge setup off of eBay and I have a few questions. Where does the adjustment cable knob mount (pictures would be helpful)? The cable I received with it is about 8.5" long, is this correct?

The odometer reading on the new gauges is considerably lower than what I have in my car now. Is there an easy way to adjust this?

I have one too, the knob mounts thru the lower dash lip to the left of the steering column about midway underneath pointing to the floor. I have the installation diagram somewhere....I will post it if I can locate it on one of my 3 computers LOL

Chuck the speedo cable up in your drill motor, easiest way...

Would that not take quite some time? Not sure what revolutions the cable turns at at 60, but I never tried that to zero mine as I figured I would burn a drill out in the time it would take?

Besides mine was at 98,000 on the rebuild.....just turned zero late last year...

Look in the archives for speedo/odo repairs. I thought I read somewhere how to reset the odo. Tricky to do, but can be done.

Sorry, should have done further searching before asking. I just didn't use the right search terms the first time through. For inguiring minds: Odometer was reset to 0

I think it'd take some time using a drill. I've got around 30,000 miles to put on. Even at 60 mph, it'd take 21 days non-stop.
