I have been asked to return again to Afghanistan to support our fine troops as they prepare to build up a larger force there, and of course I agreed to go. I will probably fly out this weekend.
I know that many of you on this website have heard of my comings and goings into the warzone to support our great men and women over the years. It is of course an honor to do so, and we all know that I could never say NO to the request.
I only point it out so that we all continue to remember and thank all those great folks serving our country on our behalf.
God bless them all. I'll send the usual posts and photos once I'm on the ground there.

Thanks Nash for your service. I deeply appreciate it and all the men and women over there making sacrifices for us. You guys really are something special. Stay safe and keep in touch on the forum when you can.

My Son is in Iraq....I salute you for your service and be sure to duck a lot. We all owe you a great deal for your sacrafice. Good luck
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
Rough couple of months here in Afganistan, but thats normal for things to get exciting in the Spring. My time is just about done; should be home in a few more weeks.
Best wishes to all, Nash
