I am sorry to be asking this question but with money being tight I must. I currently have a 69 firebird I bought with damage to the passenger fender and headlight area. I don't have the cash right now to by a new fender and all the stuff and was wondering if I could put a 69 camaro front clip on it without modifactions. I have buddy with a 69 camaro drag car and he took of the front clip for a fiberglass one. He said I could have. I really don't want a half breed car but I want to drive the car instead of it collecting dust.
seen that before , 2 or 3 times, but not sure it was 69s, but possibly 67 ,68s didnt keep track of the years, so I think it can be done...but you`ll probably catch some grief from people...LOL...just remembering what the 'words' have been for cars like that sold on EBay... but its your car...so...do what you think is best...if thats what it takes to get it running , I`d say , go for it!
but I`m sure you can also easily find the parts for it cheaply here from someone...just one fender and headlight surround...
Good news I found a whole front clip for a 69 firebird. Now I don't have to have a Frankenstein Firebird. I only have to go to Iowa for it. My Brother in law found it and will get it for me. Since my family and I moving there in 3 weeks it won't be long till my bird is back on the road. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I was going to say some things that attaches to the core support are different, and perhaps the core support it's self is different. The Pontiac drive train sits off center as where the Chevy sits on center.
Good to hear you don't have to create a Frankenbird!
