I am wondering if anyone knows if the rear shock anchor plates from 69 Firebirds are compatible with any other Pontiac/GM rear suspensions. My passenger side plate is busted out where the shock bolt attaches and there is one company in Edmonton (David T's) that pretty much has cornered the market on all Firebird/Camaros in the area. He asks an arm and a leg for any part you might need. I was hoping to put the rear suspension in next weekend and that does not give me enough time to order in a new plate as the shipping will take longer. I am hoping to be able to go out to one of the wrecking yards and pull a plate myself this week if there was one campatible.
