I don't have a pull rod for my hood latch but I see they sell them for a 69 at PY and CI. My car is a 68 but the pull rod is missing. There is a zip tie in the place I believe the pull rod goes. Does anyone know if the 69 pull rod will work on this latch?

Didn't the '68's have a paddle (for better description) that you have to reach for behind the valance. My '69 convertible, an early build, has the paddle. My '69 cammer, a late build, has the pull.

Not sure, right now it has nothing. I think I may just fabricate a pull rod and weld it on.

'68's had a paddle (as Tom mentioned) They do pop up on Epay fairly often. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-68-P...sQ5fAccessories
