here is the prob the lock works great everything is the locks and unlocks. i have recently had the car repainted and there was new door handles put on.. The door is shut and it does not open from the inside or from the outside the actual door handle feels like there is no spring or compression when you push in.. i was able to remove the door panell but still can not see how to get that [censored] door open.. hopfully somone can send me in the right direction.. thanks so much, dave
The new pushbuttons are probably the issue, if you've checked to be sure your doors are not locked. Check to be sure the lock is fully released by using the pushrod inside the door.
Remove the nuts that secure the door handle to the door panel. Then remove the door handle. The door should now operate properly from the inside. From the outside, simply push your finger into the latch hole until you feel the latch tab press inward. Then pull the door outward.

I thank you for the input although i can see the tab that your talking about and i can see that the push button is pushing on it. I had also tried getting a screwdriver and pushing in that tab through the top of the door but it still did not release nothing? unless i have to pull the handle off and maybe i could push farther with it off??
I'm thinking you may have to pull the inner door panel off if it is not already.

the new door handles have a push piece thats probably shorter , heard about it before...also 2 yrs ago I had the same problem ,found that prev owner had added a litte rubber tip on it to make it reach, that tip broke, slipped partly off...I thought then the stock handles HAD a rubber tip and was looking for this...got several peoples input...bought a used handle, had same problem....went in and re-bent slightly the piece that the push pin hits...works great now...
if you can open it up some ,see the piece the push pin is suppoesd to hit /engage, bend it , pull it towards the pin....it should work....hope thats clear enough....
I had an issue like that and it was the post adjustment. when the door was closed the catch did in fact catch, but was so tight the actuator would not move it. I pulled the panel and after a lot of swearing and pushing it finally came undone.
