my door panels were repainted about 8 years back. i need to repaint them. nothing is peeling they just have wear areas. should i just prep like they haven't been painted before. or should try some heavy cleaning or a mild stripper? thanks, tim
I think using a degreaser and just paint will work if they are not peeling. But this is an opinion and I can't speak from experience on these. I'll give your post a boost for visibility.

Most vinyl paint sprays have a corresponding "vinyl prep" product. I'd look for that.
