Anybody have problems with water draining from the front of the quarters, I know there was supposed to be a drain in the wheel-house opening and also through the rocker. Has anyone made these openings bigger. They seem to clog pretty often.
Probably clogged up with sand or dirt....if you can find the drain holes , clean them out from under neath...with a strurdy steel wire or such... I had drains like that in my 57 Studebaker , in the bottom of the doors...they didnt drain...I took the panel off and found about 4" of dirt ,sand in there...cleaned it out , drained fine...
When we pulled my '67 apart, there was 2" of solid mud and rust sitting on top of the rockers in this space.
Now that I know where the drain holes are, I plan on keeping them clean.
You can access them from inside the car, but the seats and trim need to come out first.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
