Has anyone done LEDs in their tail lights, turn signals or dash panel? I like the look and crispness of the LED and was thinking about it.

I am an electronics engineer,with alot of PC board design experience. I plan designing PC boards this winter, with LED's for the tail lights,they will fit the standard lens on the 67's & 68's. I have already bought an extra set to work with. I will post progress when I get to the project for anybody interested.

With the new high intensity LED's available, you could make a really cool sequenced turn signal assembly to fit inside the existing lens. It would make a neat PIC processor project.

hey loren that would be great. would really like to see the progress. i had thought about buying some of the others that are out there and making them "fit", or atleast try. if you could come up with a design that fit and works that will be wonderfull.

I agree. I have wanted to develop LEDs that would fit into the taillight housing but have a few other projects to get out of the way first. Please take lots of notes and pictures.

IMO this is one of the few mods/upgrades that actually looks nice on our cars. Considering this one myself...
