I see that several companys offer dash vent bezels in a chrome or black finish. What would the correct finish be for a 68' with black deluxe interior trim?

I have seen several black and a few chrome from photos here, shows, and Ebay. Just to confirm I am asking about the bezel housing and not the round vent that inserts into the bezel.

I thinks its black bezels and chrome balls
when i see them, they allways match the dash panel finish.

Firebirds seem to have color coordinated bezels, Camaro deluxe appeared to have chromed bezels.

My originals were black with chrome ball. I have the chrome in now, but will eventually paint them once I get tired of all that extra bling !

67's have chrome bezels. but only AC cars got them.

Both my 68's had black interior.
The bezels where black with chrome balls.
And the inner fins(the one thats fused together) that spread the air are black up to the outer edge.

My car hates me...
