I need to replace the fuel sending unit in my 1967 326 with air conditioning. I need to source the part myself as the shop I'm using cannot find the part. I need the unit with the vapor return.
First of all it appears that these are hard to find and when you can find them their prices vary. I found one at the Paddock for around $50 and I have seen them other places for $115 - $130 and the GM ones are over $200.
Does anybody have an opinion on these? Would I be ok with the one at the Paddock? Also are they the same ones that were used on the camaros?
Yes, same as the Camaro part. I got mine from Rick's Camaros as none of my usual sources (Ames, PY) carried them.

I bought one from National Parts Depot that I installed with my new tank. It doesn't seem to be very accurate. It will stick near the "E" after a fill up until I wiggle the car pretty hard to get the fuel to slosh. It also seems to read low when I have plenty of gas in the tank.
