How do you remove the fill plug on the rear end of my 69 bird with a ten bolt? I sprayed some good nut busting spray on it let it soak over night and used a 3/8 socket extention but it felt like it was going to strip the bolt. The fill bolt seems pretty shallow and an extention doesn't fit too tight? Is there a special too for this???
Make sure the square hole is cleaned out so the extension gets as deep as possible. Then use a breaker bar or cheater bar on the ratchet and muscle it out. I wonder if an impact wrench would be the way to go in your case.
