You have to go in behind the rear inside panel access port....it's a real knuckle duster with the rear window in, but possible and easiest with a small ratchet style wrench. There are small speed nuts holding them on.
for the 69 bird .fender vents on the front fender. you will need to remove the aluminum trim strip at the rocker panel. under it is 2 channel strips that are about 18 inches each. , that hold on the rocker trim. remove the front channel strip at the fender. looks like your car has trim around the wheel opening remove it to not bend it . remove bolts to wheel opening at the fender skirt. i cant remember there may be a couple of bolts at the bottom of the fender under side of the car, to remove . this should allow you to be able to pull the bottom of the fender out enough to scrape your knuckles and wrist to get a small socket in to remove the 4 speed nuts. a tight job, by all means. i hope this will help.
just a note, hopefully your fender bolts (on the bottom) are not as tough to remove as mine were. the one was seized and ended up snapping the bolt head off on both fender sides. I still haven't decided how I'm going to get the rest of the bolt out of there, i'm sure it will be a pain. maybe a propane torch and some channel locks will do, or I might try to weld a new bolt head back onto the protruding bolt, and use a wrench that way. worst case, i hope a drill and tap is not needed.
