Hello, When installing the TO bearing what type of lube do you use on the inside of the bearing and the bearing retainer that it rides on? Seems to be alot of different opinions. Also should you fill the groove on the inside of the bearing underneath the collar as it states in the 67 service manual. I want to lube it enough but not too much. Thanks

The two that I have installed specifically stated on the package "DO NOT LUBE" on them. They were wrapped in like wax paper and I guess they had been pre-lubed?

The bearing itself is pre-lubed but I think you have to lube the inside surface and the bearing retainer that it rides on. Some say to use bearng grease and some white lithium and I've also seen moly grease.
